AMBIENCE

AMBIENCE is the atmosphere and mood of a space, created through a deliberate combination of design elements. We don’t always notice it rationally, but we feel it — and that is how our perception of a place is formed.

The exhibition is built around two contrasting approaches to design: the technological — a reflection of the human drive to optimize, accelerate, and embed innovation into form, and the natural — about objects made from natural materials and methods that maintain a connection to craft, time, and the origin of things.

What matters here is not which one is «better,» but how it is made — and what we feel beside it. Ambience is created not by the «type of material,» but by honesty — in the choice of materials, in the method of production, in the logic of form, and in the way an object interacts with a person.
